- What is the difference between vinyl and mesh?
- Vinyl is solid and holds the most saturated colour. Mesh is perforated so wind passes through, which is what keeps it on an exposed fence or facade. Mesh gives up a little colour density and fine detail in exchange, so we match the material to the exposure and the viewing distance.
- How big can a banner be?
- Limited by the roll width and by how you intend to hang it rather than by the press. Very wide banners are welded from panels. Tell us the span and the fixing and we will tell you whether it should be one piece or several.
- How long will an outdoor banner last?
- It depends far more on the mounting and the exposure than on the print. A well hemmed banner with correctly spaced grommets, tensioned properly, lasts seasons. The same banner cable-tied through two corners tears in the first storm. The finishing decision matters more than the material grade.
- Do you install?
- We print, finish and supply the fixings. Installation on buildings, poles and municipal hardware is usually handled by an installer or the property's own crew, and we will spec exactly what the banner needs so nobody is guessing on the day.
